RIGHTEOUS STRIKE [EXALTED] The character can channel their righteous energies into their attacks. Prerequisites: Character level 4th, good alignment Benefit: A number of times per day equal to ¼ of your character level, rounded down (1/day at 4th, 2/day at 8th, 3/day at 12th, 4/day at 16th, and 5/day at 20th level), you can strike an evil creature for an additional amount of damage equal to your character level. The extra damage, but not the normal damage, is considered good aligned for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction. If you use this ability against a creature whose alignment is not evil it has no effect, but the ability is still used up for that day. If the attack misses, the ability is used up for the day. Special: A fighter may select Righteous Strike as one of his fighter bonus feats. SINFUL STRIKE [VILE] The character can channel their wicked energies into their attacks. Prerequisites: Character level 4th, evil alignment Benefit: A number of times per day equal to ¼ of your character level, rounded down (1/day at 4th, 2/day at 8th, 3/day at 12th, 4/day at 16th, and 5/day at 20th level), you can strike a good creature for an additional amount of damage equal to your character level. Special: A fighter may select Sinful Strike as one of his fighter bonus feats. |

Of course, Extra Smiting isn't exalted or vile, so maybe this is balanced more in the same sense that Nymph's Kiss is balanced than in the sense that Extra Smiting is balanced. |

Plus you don't get the bonus to attack equal to your Charisma bonus... |

This increases both the uses and the effect as you level up. But as a general rule, that is not found in feats, instead the leveling up things are found in PrCs. PrC abilites are supposed to be better than feats. Also, Feats usually have a Greater version, you can take later on to 'level it up'. Make a greater version that increases the uses per day. Failing that, you could let the uses per day level up but keep the benefit constat. |
