Improved Sunder, Power Attack, Strength 13+ Benefit: When Sundering a magic weapon, you can as an free action, absorb the energy released by the weapon. You can use this energy to restore spend spell slots. You get a total number of spell levels restored equal to the total + cost of the weapon, including special abilities. For example, if you Sunder a +1 flaming, Shocking Burst sword, you restore a total of 4 levels worth of spell slots. If you had previously cast a 4th level spell, you could restore a single 4th level spell. If you had not cast a 4th level spell, but had cast a 3rd and a 1st, you can restore the 3rd and the 1st instead. The amount of spell slots restored may not allow you to exceed your daily maximum. |

| tarkin03-17-07, 05:58 PM | I did it Sorceror only for two reasons: 1. I can see you absorbing the energy, but how do you re-prepare the spell? With an empty slot, it takes 15 minutes to re-memorize. That makes it almost useless for a Wizard anyway. 2. Sorcerors already get more spells. They honestly should not need that much more spells, and don't benefit as much from getting extra ones. Giving them a few more is LESS of a power boost than giving Wizards the same thing. |
