| Mulkr05-10-07, 03:29 PM | I only own core materials, so if some non-core feat out there does these things, please tell me. Anyway... Weapon mastery You are so well trained at fighting with certain weapons, that they become easier to weild. prerequisites:Base attack bonus+8, profeceincy with selected weapon, weapon focus with selected weapon, greater weapon focus with selected weapon, power attack. You can weild weapons as if they were one size category smaller than what they are (2-hand wepons as one hand) This means that you weild weapons for creatures one size category larger than you can weild the same way you would weild a weapon for your size category without this feat. Special: You may gain this feat multiple times. Each time you do, it applies to a new weapon. A fighter may select this as one of his fighter bonus feats. Greater Weapon Mastery You are a master of weilding weapons, and can melee better than your opponents. prerequisites:Base attack bonus+16, weapon mastery with selected weapon, profeceincy with selected wepon, weapon focus with selected wepon, greater weapon focus with selected weapon, power attack. You can weild weapons to the great effect that they are, to you, two-size categories smaller than what they are listed as. This means you may weild wepons of two categories larger normally, and 1 size category larger as though you had the weapon mastery feat with them, but not this feat. Special: You may get this feat multiple times. Each time you do, it's effects apply to a new weapon. A fighter may select this feat as one of his fighter bonus feats. Also, for purposes of grappling and other such moves, these weapons count as normal for someone without this or weapon mastery feats: I made these feats because of the fact that, historically, many people used large weapons with sheilds and sidearms very effectivly. I thought these should be hard feats to get, but rewarding ones once gotten. Plus, this will let the PC's have a bit of a better chance of not having TPK's. Please, no flaming. Just in case though, (") thats my ring of fire protection. I hope its not needed. Also, these feats can only be used on two-handed weapons. |

First one, I can see working - In the case of spears and such, making longspears usable with shields. But... Historically, when did someone use a shortsword made for a Huge in one-hand? Or use longspears in grapples? It just opens up a whole bunch of weird worms, in my opinion. |
