I was browsing the feats in the SRD, and I noticed a feat that seems really good for trippers. Called Knock-Down, basically if you deal 10 or more damage (from my understanding in one attack) you can trip that target as a free action. Does that not seem like something every tripper would want unless they wanted to do something else as a free action? I know at lower levels when you wouldn't deal 10 points of damage that often it wouldn't be too bad, but at higher levels (basically >5) you would be making trip attempts every round automatically.

Thanks for your guys' input in advance!

It's from 3.0 Sword and Fist. The same book that was, in its first printing (which had Knockdown phrased the same way), obviously written with a poor understanding of 3e mechanics (i.e. "Knowledge (Nobility and Royalty): The cavalier has this skill for free without having to pay for it with skill points." is a verbatim quote). This suggests that the author likely thought that 10 damage was a hell of a lot.

It hasn't been updated; it's only in the SRD because it appears in Deities & Demigods because a couple of the gods had the feat.

For the record, not every tripper will want it; your attack for damage isn't a touch attack, which is significant. However, it's absurdly easy to break.

Note that the Knock-Down feat is listed in the same section as Salient Divine Abilities; it's not mentioned in the feat description itself, but the section header states that the feats there are for deities to choose from.
