penetrating shot + eldritch blast [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-12-07, 11:15 PM would it be possible to use penetrating shot with eldritch balst? i am uncertain but am leaning on the side of no as the spell states you must use a projectile weapon which i doubt eldritch blast counts as. I just wanted confirmation on my views.

09-13-07, 12:35 AM Where is the penetrating shot spell from? The only penetrating shot I know of is a feat.

It won't work with the feat, since the feat specifically requires arrows.

An Eldritch Blast is a ranged attack, and even a weapon-like effect, but it is not a projectile weapon.
