Ahh, sleepless nights.

Okay, this might be the wrong place to post this thread, so if it is, I'll move it.

A friend I game with mentioned a feat that allowed spells made permanent on your character.... undispellable (if that's actually a word, I'll be amazed ). Instead, dispel magic would only suppress the the magic, as if your character were a magic item.

Does such a feat (or relevant feature) exist, or should I tell my friend he's delusional?

Thanks for any info.:)

Craft contigent spell makes buffs last for ever in effect but they can be dispelled. I dont know what else it could be.

There is an epic feat which can make an emanation permanent (and you can reactivate it as a free action if it is dispelled).

There is also an epic feat which allows a spell to only be suppressed for 1d4 rounds when it would be dispelled.

I know of no feat which does both at the same time though. Could he be thinking of the tenacious magic epic feat in tandem with an application of the permanency spell from the PHB?

I am sure that is what he was thinking of.

Amazing how many people think Epic feats are just feats like any other.
