| Reflets10-17-07, 03:50 PM | PHB2 errata states that page 80 under the KI BLAST feat you should read "monk can select at level 6 providing he has Fiery Fist and a BAB of +6" Which is just not possible. Should say just "monk can select at level 6 providing he has Fiery Fist" Thanks WotC for your confirmation |
| FLAvatar10-17-07, 04:11 PM | Maybe it isn't possible for a single-class monk, but a multi-classed character could easily have a +6 BAB by the time they took their 6th level of monk. |
| Reflets10-17-07, 04:20 PM | Agreed but I doubt the intention was to make it available only to multiclass. |
| Merestil Haye10-17-07, 04:34 PM | Since the restriction on the monk requiring a BAB of +6 is in the original text, I think it's safe to assume that they wanted to delay the character obtaining the feat until she can make two attacks per round with a regular (ie non-Monk) weapon, especially once you realise that all 8th level Monks have a BAB of +6 automatically. |
| jaelis10-18-07, 12:10 AM | Agreed but I doubt the intention was to make it available only to multiclass. Seeing as how this point was brought up in the previous errata discussions, and was also the answer given by Customer Service, I think we have to conclude that it is, in fact, only meant to be available through multiclassing. I don't know why that would be, but it does not appear to be a mistake. |
