Poison Use [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-07-07, 07:14 AM I don't know if this is in the right place but what are the ways to get the poison use ability, the only ways I know of are Ninja(Complete Adventurer) and Assassin(DMG) are there any other ways?

07-07-07, 08:34 AM There are probably other prestige classes as well, but simple things such as wearing thick gloves would probably work.

I have heard that people buy an amulet of Hand of the Mage (Mage Hand at will) and have that apply poison for them.

I believe that there are poison chambers you can install in a weapon which delivers the poison without having to smear it on the blade. I think they are in Complete Scoundrel, but I'm not sure there is absolutely zero chance of poisoning yourself...

Perhaps someone else can help more?

07-07-07, 06:00 PM Drow of the Underdark has a feat called "Master of Poisons" which allows you to apply poison as a swift action without a chance of poisoning yourself. It has no prereqs.
