I was bouncing around the boards I came across a feat that was from Dragon magazine that apparently said something about being able to use a shield and polearm. I really don't mean to start another 300 thread. So if anybody has any info on what the feat actually dose drop the info by

thank yall very much

Not aware of what Dragon magazine had to say on the subject, but you could use a buckler and a polearm (or any two handed weapon) with the Improved Buckler Defense feat from Complete Warrior. You would get the AC from the buckler, but it would cost a -1 penalty to the attack roll with the polearm. Still, it would generally be a favorable exchange if your buckler has any magical properties. (i.e. a +2 buckler would give +3 to AC in exchange for a -1 to hit, which is considerably better than say Expertise)

Shield and Pike style, I believe. Can't tell you where it is, but that should be the name of it.

I think I'd an OGL rule by telling you much more than that... Crystalkeep has it listed, though.
