| shadowwalkerinc03-12-07, 04:04 PM | I been reading the books & I need a ruleing on this: If I Power Attack for 2 & Leap Attack with a 2 handed weapon, what is the end result? Is it 6 or 12? Any insight would be helpful. Also if you know of any link that is a ruleing by say wizard that explains this combo in detail, I would like to see it. |
| LordBOB77703-12-07, 06:07 PM | A 2 handed weapon makes Power Attack, for -2, jump to 4. Leap attack tripples your PA, so 4x3=12 EDIT: Dont forget that this only works on a charge |

Rules as written w/o the errata imply that you should only get a +6 bonus from your leap attack. But regardless, the errata states that leap attack give +100% of your normal power attack bonus. Normally, you would get +4 for Power Attacking -2. So with leap attack, you would get +8. |

Well with leap attack you get x3 with a two handed weapon, like a great axe (which I use). So it should be 12 then? |

It does state that you triple the power attack damage, but the way I originally read it, I took the phrase: "...instead triple the extra damage from power attack." to mean instead of doubling it as you would normally do with a two-handed weapon. But it can definitely be interpretted the other way. Regardless, the errata clears up the ambiguity by finding the middle ground between the two. |
