So my question is, can I take the practiced spellcaster feat (complete arcane) to add levels to warlock (complete arcane) to increase the damage from my Eldritch blast? for arguments sake, lets say I am 5th level in warlock and 4th level in fighter, will taking practiced spellcaster as my 9th level feat let me throw 9th level blasts?

thanks

No, this was dealt with in the 3.5 Main Rules FAQ.

What effect would the Practiced Spellcaster feat
(Complete Arcane, page 82) have on a warlock?
A strict reading of the feat’s benefit indicates that the
warlock would gain no benefit from Practiced Spellcaster. The
warlock is not a spellcasting class for normal purposes—the
exception noted on page 18 of Complete Arcane applies only to
prestige class benefits—and thus it could not be selected as the
class to be affected by this feat.

Note, while the feat itself would not do what you want, I see little if any reason not to allow:

Practicsed Warlock.

Why don't you write it up?

In any case, I would only allow it into improve caster lv, not eldritch blast damage.:P
