On of my character is a Rogue/Monk with sacred Vow of Poverty... His tactics for building his character with taking 1 level in rogue and all the rest in monk... he'll be taking Ascetic Rogue wich calculate Unarmed damage and Sneak attack by adding rogue to monk levels... which mean that at rogue 1, monk 19, the character will sneak attack as a rogue level 20 and his unarmed damage (but not the flurry of blow or any other benefits of the monk) as level 20 monk also...

Plus, he took Vow of Poverty which he will raise his Wis score by +8 at level 20...
As feats, he will take Intuitive attack which uses Wis mod instead of Str for attack bonus on simple weapons and natural weapon... So he'll have a good attack roll...

Then, he's gonna take Sacred strike for his sneak attack to deals d8 instead of d6 to evil creatures....
Then, he's gonna take Sanctify Ki strike which add damage to evil creatures.
Santify Ki strike requires Cha 15 (which he will ahve by the time he chose the feat), Improved Unarmed Strike (via Monk class) and Ki Strike (Lawful) which he gets by monk class also...

Then, he want to take to Holy Ki Strike feats, which improve that damage again.... The pre-req are Cha 15 (same), Improved Unarmed Strike (same), Sanctify Ki Strike (he took the feat already) and Ki Strike (Holy)... The thing is that looks like there is no way to get Ki Strike Holy...

Nether monk or other calss seem to give that benefit.... and even his vow of poverty which gives Ki strike ggod/magic doesn't give Ki strike Holy... plus.. what if holy anyway...??? I mean... some monster have dmg reduction of */good, */magic, */lawful, */silver, etc. but did someone saw a dmg reduction like 5/holy ????

Plus.. got another question.... in the exalted book, there is a feat called Sanctify Natural attack which is the same thing as Sanctify Ki Strike except that it affects natural weapons and the other is unarmed attack... Reading this, looks like a character can benefit from both since it qualifies for both...

When i think of all this, i cam to think that unarmed attack is not a natural attack (which would mean that intuitive attack cannot be used for unarmed attack since the feats states "Use Wis modifier instead of Str modificer on attack rolls with SIMPLe and NATURAL WEAPONS). Back to player's handbook 2 in the Expended classes chapter (which is cahpter 2), the monk package 2 took improved natural attack and deals 1d8 instead of 1d6 points of damage...

So if unarmed attack is a natural attack, why they came up with a Santify Ki Strike and a Sanctify Natural attack ? Can the character benefit from these two feats ???

Plus, what you think of the character... with all the feats mentionned above plus the stunning fist and Touch of the golden Ice... at level 20(rgu1/mnk19), the character will have like 5 attacks with a BAB of +14/+14/+14/+9/+4 .... with probaly +7 from his Wis score enhanced from vow of poverty...

The character is likely to fight evil creatures... within his flurry first attack, he make a stunning fist attempt... if the stun is a success, he is likely to hit his foe with the next 3 or 4 attacks... being stunned, the foe loses his dex so he can sneak attack as a 20 rogue... so +10d8 on each attack (assuming the foe is evil), dealing bonus damage with th two sanctify feats.... plus, ravaging the foe with touch of golden ice....

Your prospective wisdom mod is way too low. Put all you can into wisdom right now. Then add in at least one level of Fist of the Forest (CChampion, for con to AC, two more will yield another damage boost), and pump con up next, then dex. This should yield a wisdom score of 30 or so, if you start with an 18.

Now that that's out of the way, what is (are) the question(s)? It looks like you want to know if the feat Holy Ki Strike (which has Sanctify Ki Strike as a prereq) lets you overcome DR as holy? Well, it doesn't, since there is no DR/holy that I know of, it's just DR/good.

For the second question: because they needed to fill space. Seriously. What is Holy Ki Strike but the equivilent of Sanctify Martial or Natural weapon? And with a prereq feat to boot! And they won't stack, I don't think.

Well, I as wrote, I got away of the main question.... the main question was "How can we get the Ki Strike (Holy) which is a pre-req for Holy Ki Strike?"

There's no official errata on it, but an answer does appear in the FAQ.The Holy Ki Strike feat from the Book of Exalted Deeds (page 44) lists “Ki strike (holy)” as a prerequisite, but that ability doesn’t exist in the book. Is that a typo or is it in a different book?

This looks like an error, since no such ability exists. Sanctify Ki Strike (page 46), a prerequisite for Holy Ki Strike, lists “Ki strike (lawful)” as a prerequisite. This suggests that Holy Ki Strike’s prerequisite should be the same. While no official errata for Book of Exalted Deeds exists, this seems like a reasonable conclusion for DMs who use the feat.NB : This answer predates the BoED errata file, but that was issued as part of the Great Polymorph Upheaval of February 2006, and doesn't address the issue.

Well, I just read the feat again, and I must say I didn't see the ki strike (holy) prereq before. It should probably be Ki Strike (lawful) instead, as that's what my brain thought it was (I read lawful instead of holy every other time I've read the feat).
