Hey guys,

I was thinking about this feat and I canīt believe how much powerful it is! Tell me if Iīm wrong, but with this feat I can have my Celestial Dire Bear (As it still an animal that a 12th Druid can Wild Shape)!!!! So... if I have a 12 Str, 12 Dex, 14 Con, 10 Int, 20 Wis, 14 Char Druid, my stats would be:

Male Human, Druid 12; Large Humanoid; HD 12d8+24; HP 82; Ini +1; 40 feet; AC 17; +19 melee (2d4+10 – 20/ x2, 2 claws) and +14 melee (2d8+5 – 20/ x2, bite); SQ: Druid Abilities + Low-light vision, Scent, Darkvision out to 60 feet, Damage Reduction 10/ magic, Resistance to acid 10, cold 10, and electricity 10, Spell resistance 17. SA: Smite Evil (+12) Improved Grab. Saves: Fort +12, Ref +05, Will +13; 31 Str (+10), 13 Dex (+1), 19 Con (+4), 10 Int, 20 Wis (+5) and 14 Char (+2).

Is it right?

Thanks good folk,

Felipe.

That looks about right. In my opinion, blink dog is the really amazing option. Constant blinking that never hinders you and a free dimension door every round? It rocks.

Yeah, it is a great option as a Blink Dog... but I think it is better for specialized Spellcasters than for druids that relies on wild shaping as a melee improvement, anyway... a Blink Dog is always a good choice :D

Thanks man!

Errrr... if I were in a Blink Dog form and a wizard cast Fire Ball in an area that I am... can I use Dimension Door as a free action to get away from there before taking any damage?

No, it's a free action, not an immediate action.

However, you'll only take half damage from the spell because of the blink effect.

Is this in Book of Exalted Deeds?

I've been wanting to play a druid for a while... and this feat seems nifty. Is there a fiendish version?

Awwwww I see. Thanks for answering, but I got another question... If I have a sucessful reflex save against that same Fire Ball, Will I take no damage? (Blink and Reflex save)

I`d say you`ll take 1/4 damage. Cut an apple in half and than cut it again and you`ll have a quarter, not nothing ;). But this can be argued.

I agree.
You take 1/2 damage from blinking because you're not where the damage is being dealt 1/2 the time. During that time, you successfully reflex save and take 1/2 of THAT 1/2 damage, making it 1/4 damage.

I'm sure there should be a source example, but I'm abit lazy to search it.
