| Korlall04-01-07, 10:07 PM | One of my NPC character is an Ibixian (Medium) which selected Two-Weapon fighting and Exotic weapon (Orc double axe) in order to fighter with that double weapon. As he gained Racial Hit dice, the character's size increases to Large. Doing so, it gained 8 Str and 4 Con but lost 2 dex, droping him to 13. Can he still use it's two weapon fighting feat since he doesn't qualify no more? (same thing could be asked for ability damage or ability loss while aging) |

If he doesn't let you keep the benefits, perhaps he'd let you switch those feats out for ones useful to you. Of course, you could also get an item that adds +2 (or more) to your Dexterity. You may want to ask him about that as well. |

Also on the samkind of question can a undead template like vampire, lich, etc. gain class level after they aquire their template, if yes, do we apply the template to those level ? |

Question: Can a character gain "racial" hd once he gain a class level ?I don't believe so; however there's nothing to stop the DM from reassigning feats the creature is listed with in the MM entry. Also on the samkind of question can a undead template like vampire, lich, etc. gain class level after they aquire their template, if yes, do we apply the template to those level ?A template such as Vampire alters the creature's actual race - he's no longer whatever sort of creature he used to be but a new one (Undead in this case). Al the class levels of the creature apply after the creature's racial features - there is no difference between a class level gained before the template and a class level gained after the template. |
