I'm playing a catfolk rogue with a +5 Dex (0_0), and I was wondering if you could use a Quarterstaff with Weapon Finesse? If you think about it, it makes sense, but I'm not sure.

The off-hand attack of a Quarterstaff (used with TWF) is considered Light, and is thus Finessable.

In my game, I'd allow it -- maybe charge a Feat to grant finessability to quarterstaves & spears -- but that's clearly a house rule. :)

I thought so, but thinking about it, Finnesse is your ability to move your weapon around into a good position to strike, and it's easy to do with staves, so...yeah.

I always have considered an aberration to allow to use finesse with blunt weapons.

I only can imagine wielding a quarterstaff with finesse if you are using to for tripping but never for hitting someone in the head.
