It says that the prerequisite is "damage reduction as a class feature" -- now does this mean you have to be at a level where you actually have a damage reduction or that your class has the capacity to obtain damage reduction if you proceed in levels? In other words could a level 1 barbarian take this feat and gain a damage reduction of 1 or must she attain 7th level?
Father Dale 02-01-08, 11:13 PM	The character would actually have to obtain damage reduction via a class feature. Try reading it this way: the prerequisite is "damage reduction (as a class feature)." The 'class feature' phrase simply narrows down the type of damage reduction that qualifies, as opposed to say via race, feat, or spell. But you would still have to HAVE damage reduction in the first place in order to satisfy this requirement.
