Okay, so my character is a barbarian with the Pounce ability (see the Complete Champion Alternate Class Feature).

Simply put, I charge with Leap Attack and a greataxe, and use Power Attac. The question here is, does the x3 multiplier apply to all my attacks or just my first attack?

Power attack applies to all your attacks for the round.

Pounce let's you make multiple attacks during a charge.

Leap attack provides a bonus to your power attack damage when you charge (leap).

Your bonuses apply to all your attacks. Don't forget you get an extra +2 per attack as well because you charged!

Having played a barbarian of this type my self, it is extremely over powered to interpret things this way. The ability was supposed to be applied to natural weapons only.

If you want an extra attack, keep the 10ft of movement and get the whirling frenzy ability (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/classFeatureVariants.htm#rageVariantWhir lingFrenzy) (UA). You can get two attacks at -2 of highest base attack bonus.

I would, but this character is for Xen'drik Expeditions, and must therefore be made according to the Campaign Standards.

Can anyone else answer my question?

Why would you need someone else? Just because its overpowered doesn't make it wrong.

SupaTalka was right. Pounce, given by the Barbarian alternate class feature, was absolutely meant to apply to weapon attacks, and it works exactly as he said. However, note that the Errata changed Leap Attack from the unusual x3 wording to a straight +100% wording.

I just would like to warn you. Pounce really is over powered, and not fun for the player or the GM in the long run. A more balanced thing would be to trade your fast movement to get the multi attacks as a standard action from the whirling frenzy variant.

If your not going to listen to me, that is fine, best of luck to you.

I would just like to warn you. Spellcasting is really over powered, and not fun for the player or the GM in the long run. A more balanced thing would be to trade your spells for a higher BAB and HD and more feats.

In all seriousness, though, pouncing is only overpowered in the mid-levels, before spells can catch up, and really only if you go out of your way to maximize its effectiveness (with shock trooper and leap attack and all that stuff). Consider a totally normal barbarian at level 6. He's probably got power attack, but otherwise, just some general stuff. He's going to charge and get one attack at +8. The next round he'd full attack. Or he could get pounce and get two whole attacks at +8/+3! Oh no! Two attacks one round earlier than he normally would get them! Gasp! Now, its true that this is abusable, no question, but so is almost any other ability available (like Wildshape, for example, which is abuseable by, probably even first time players).

By the time the extra attacks start becoming significant, the party's spellcaster could probably have already won the encounter by the time the barbarian got his third swing off if he didn't have pounce.

Oh, and as a side note, I don't think you totally understand how Whirling Frenzy works. It basically gives you flurry of blows. I know the SRD does not explain this well, but trust me, you need to make a full attack to get extra bonus attacks. You also don't trade fast movement for it, you trade Rage. Ironically, its an awesome choice for Pouncing barbarians, since its even more attacks on a charge.
