Ok, I'm not sure if this should be posted in this forum, or Equipment and Combat, so I'm going to post in both.
The Leap Attack feat says that I do double damage if I make a 10 ft jump, and if I use power attack, its instead tripled.
Here's my question... what happens if I score a critical hit? My weapon has a x4 modifier, so wtf? Whats a x3, x4? I'm baffled. Would it be 1.I figure out what my + to damage would be (i.e, +7 x3 = +21) and then times that by 4, or 2. would it do the whole "double doubled is triple" thing, and if thats the case, then what the hell is a x3 times 4? If its the first option, then I'm doing like 4d8+124 dmg. That seems like an awful lot, thats why I'm questioning...

Any thoughts, source material to read from to substansiate these rules, cause you KNOW the other players will be ****** if the halfling's doing more damage than the wizard AND the barbarian combined

As I read the multiplication rules, you'd get the 3 x attack bonus lost from power attack, which as a static number would then be multiplied times 4 by the crit, along with the strength modifier, the magic bonus, and any other static (non-variable) damage bonuses you may have.

To the OP, Cross posting is bad form and rude:

Really? Okay, well I'm new to this forum, but its pretty cool. I just really wanted the answer to this question, cause the game is this weekend, and I want to have all my bases covered. If I come in there using this idea, and I'm dealing like 150 points of damage on a crit, I want to be able to support that with text.

For future reference tho, I'll only post on one topic. PeaCe!
