i intend to make a warforged charactor for a future campaign. the basis is a group starting a mercenary group in a small town they live in. the idea is at first there's no real objective but to increase business. doing any odd jobs that come their way etc, and it leads on to larger things, not sure what they are yet, haven't planned that far ahead. maybe one of their jobs being bigger then they first thought. not sure yet.

anyway, my question is on crafts. Early on, they have pretty much no money, seeing as its all gone into their business, so to save money we're all getting crafts / professions to help things along. As a warforged, i need either gemcutting, sculpting or blacksmithing to repair myself.

I don't want to get gemcutting so its between sculpting or blacksmithing, and i have no idea what i could make with either of those skills. Is there anywhere which could give me information on what can be made with those two skills?

For any non-weapon of armour iron based item, blacksmithing is what you want. You can make hinges for doors, nails, horseshoes, plows, chandeliers, and just about anything you can think of, really. Blacksmiths were crazy good inventors back in the day, so go nuts?

Also, if you plan to work with copper and copper based metals, I suggest getting Craft (redsmithing), btw. Two different things, but maybe I'm just being picky. >_>
