this feat gives the ability to cast arcane spells in one higher class of armor (heavy, medium, or light) than you can before the feat was gained. if a character with no ability to ignore spell failure chance, will they be able to (after the feat) ignore light armor's fail chance?
and one more thing...does it give proficiency?

thanks

No, you cant take the feat if u dont have the ability to cast arcane spells in armor; and no it dont give proficiency.
