Sidestep is a feat from Player's Guide to Faerun that allows you to make a 5 foot step after an attack of opportunity, without counting it against the limit of 1 5-foot step per round.

Karmic Strike is from Complete Warrior. It lets you lower your AC by 4 in return for the ability to make an attack of opportunity against anyone who hits you in melee. You have to decide to activate the ability on your turn, and the ability to make the AoOs and the penalty to AC last until your next turn.

Jotunbrud (and it's spelled like that -- Jotun, from the Norse word for 'giant', and brud, pronounced "brood", meaning their offspring) gives you the Powerful Build ability, where you act as if you are one size larger for many purposes.

I'm not sure where Jotunbrud is from -- Races of Faerun, I think.

Jotunbrud is I believe from Unapproachable East. A regional feat for one of those areas covered in the book.

Jotunbrud is actually from the FRCS and it's updated in PGtF to be a 1st level only regional feat for humans of Illuskan or Damaran regions.

Jotunbrud isn't the same as Powerful Build, it's the prototype for that ability. It treats you as size Large for opposed rolls like Trip, Bull rush, and Overrun and as Large against Monster's special attacks. It doesn't allow you to wield a weapon of larger sized than normal.
