Number 1:
Can Quick Draw be used to "sheath" a weapon as a free action?

It says can be used to:draw a weapon as a free action instead of as a move action. You can draw a hidden weapon (see the Sleight of Hand skill) as a move action.
A character who has selected this feat may throw weapons at his full normal rate of attacks (much like a character with a bow).

but does that have ANYTHING to do with "sheathing" a weapon? I put in quotes on sheathing because a PC in my group is using this feat to wrap a spiked chain around his torso as a free action in order to use a different weapon..I think he is full of it, as the basic rules of physics are against him on this one.. But, I have been wrong before when relying on THAT particular set of rules...

Number 2:
Ok, say you are in combat, you use all your attacks then use your half-demon given flight ability to fly into the air, can you THEN use tumble to escape AoO's?

I personnaly don't think this makes sense, partly because by using his move action that is all the actions he can perform in that round, plus, there are only so many ways you can tumble when surrounded by enemies and you need to use wings to fly..

Number 3:
Can low-light vision be used in darkness? or are elves blind underground as well as humans?

Also along that line, I am going to assume that my DM is full of it, when he says that even though the human is carrying a damned torch underground, the Drow can STILL use his dark vision sense he is walking a little ahead of the light...

any help you be appreciated..

1: The feat does not make any proviso for allowing free sheathing. It is a common houserule however, to allow free sheathing with the feat. This is more of an issue with what your DM allows.

2: Tumbling is not an action, it is part of movement. If he flies at half movement (or takes a penalty on Tumble checks to move at full speed) he can technically Tumble to avoid AoOs I believe.

3: Low-light vision still requires light. If there is no light, an elf is just as blind as a human.

Darkvision is always on. Nothing about it says it is automatically turned off in the presence of light. You can't hide in the shadows from someone with Darkvision (Edit: Assuming they are in range for their Darkvision to work). This can be found in the Combat chapter under 'Concealment' for 'Ignoring Concealment'.

While Kouk gave you good adivce, I do have to say that no one has done a fair survey of people's house rules. When someone says "most" or "common" it is almost always means "people I play with" or maybe "Several people on the boards".

Quickdraw quite clearly does not let you sheath. Sheathing is VERY much desired by people, it can tremdously increase the power of many builds. As such I have seen several Power DM's House rule that it is legal. I have also seen Loose DM's create Home Brew feats to let you do it, tha tyou must take in ADDITION to QuickDraw. Ask your DM, but don't expect him to say yes if you have not found him to be very generous in the past.

Also, Darkvision does not work against magical darkness, so you can use magical darkness to hide in against Darkvision.

Aside from that, I would agree with everything Kouk said.

#3: As Kouk said, Low-Light vision requires light.
So, you have a human, an Elf, and a Dwarf.

With no light, The human is blind, the Elf is blind, The Dwarf can see in black and white out to 60ft.

With a candle that provides 15ft illumination.
The Human can see 15 ft
The Elf can see 30 ft
The Dwarf can see color out to 15 ft, and B&W out to 60 ft.

1) No, absolutely not. Sheathing is never a Free Action. You could maybe make a Quick Sheath and make Quickdraw a pre-req as a house rule.

2) If he makes a Full Attack, he can only move 5 ft via 5 ft step. He can not move and as a result he can not Fly or Tumble or Jump etc.

3) You are as blind as a Human. Low Light doubles your sight. Blind = 0 ft. Low Light Blind = 2*0 = 0 ft.

1. No, putting a weapon into a sheath is not the same as taking it out. example: If you are checking oil in the car it is easily to quickly pull that stick out, but you cant put it back in with the same quickness. It takes at least 2 second while pulling it out is instant.

2.If you use all of your attack then you have just make a full round action, and the only thing you have left is a free action, or a 5 foot step(which is not a move action)

3. Low-light and darkvision are not the same. If there is some light then low-light vision works, but if it is complete darkness then they are as blind as humans are.

As for your DM the limit for the lighting are in the PHB. I think the torch goes out to 20 feet, and 21-40 feet it is shadowy, and the drow can see you if you in complete darkness up to 120 feet away because that is how far ther dark vision goes, and drow can see in the light.

Quick Draw cannot be used to sheath...

That would be called Quick Sheath
