| gfreese07-09-07, 12:47 AM | Hi all, I am a 12th level Warlock. I would like to take "Quicken Spell-Like Ability: Eldritch Blast" as my Feat. I know that within a round, I could go: Eld.Blast, then a Quickened Eld.Blast... Could I go: 1. Hideous Blow, then Quickened Hideous Blow? 2. Eldritch Glaive, then Quickened Eldritch Glaive? (I want this to work so bad!) 3. Do I need to specify the QSLA Feat as Hideous Blow, Eldritch Glaive, etc? Or is Quicken: Eldritch Blast enough and the blast shape or essence is irrelevant as long as it is 2nd level or below for the QSLA? Please help me clarify this with my DM... Greg |

(I want this to work so bad!)Uhm, no. But you can us ea full-round action to make both attacks with this [overpowered, blashemy of a] Invocation. 3. Do I need to specify the QSLA Feat as Hideous Blow, Eldritch Glaive, etc? Or is Quicken: Eldritch Blast enough and the blast shape or essence is irrelevant as long as it is 2nd level or below for the QSLA? I believe that all blast shapes and eldritch essences are included in Quicken-Eldritch Blast, but rulings will vary by DM. |
