I'm pretty sure that when you use an alternate form effect you do not gain any of the bonus feats of the new form. I believe that you would gain racial skill bonuses based on movement modes. (So if the new form has a climb speed, you would get the standard +8 to Climb checks.) If the new form has the ability to use either dexterity or strength for climb checks, would you gain that ability? If the new form has a racial bonus on a skill, would you gain that bonus while in the form? The Rules of the Game article appears to give conflicting answers. In part three is says that you would not gain racial traits such as racial sklill bonuses, yet in the examples given in part four, they appear to have included them. :uh-huh: Edit: Perhaps I should post this in the magic or classes section instead?
