I would treat it as a weapon-like spell (See Complete Arcane) although it is a Supernatural ability and not really a spell. Works: Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot. Can get critical hits (20/x2). Can Sneak Attack or similar ability. Maybe Works, if DM allows: Weapon Focus (Ki Blast), Improved Critical (Ki Blast), Weapon Specialization (Ki Blast). Doesn't Work: Far Shot is projectile or thrown weapons only. Rapid Shot is impossible because you only create one with a Standard Action, and if you don't throw it that round it dissipates. Similarly, Manyshot is impossible. Shot on the Run is not possible because forming and throwing the ball is not a normal attack action, and I would not consider it a true weapon.
