| StealthElite05-21-07, 03:37 PM | I read on the forum somewhere (i cant find the thread) that there is a feat that allows a cleric to cast heal spells within a 30 foot radius. I think the prereq was to have 4 ranks in heal but i cant remember the name can someone help me? |
| Gorbeck05-21-07, 04:02 PM | The feat is called Reach Spell. It's in the Complete Divine on page 84. It turns any spell with a range of Touch into a ray with a range of 30 feet. Thus you need to succeed on a ranged touch attack, even for a Heal spell. the spell occupies a slot two levels higher than normal. |
| unusualsuspect05-21-07, 05:48 PM | I'm pretty sure its just one spell level adjustment, actually. |
| Ainamacar05-21-07, 06:11 PM | It's +2 to the level, according to the book. The errata makes no changes to this feat. The Hierophant, while usually a pretty poor choice for a caster, does have the divine reach ability. This lets you use any touch spell spell on targets up to 30 feet away, or 60 if you take it twice. |
| runestar05-21-07, 06:37 PM | There is a feat called smiting spell? which lets you apply a touch spell to your arrows or something. There is also another feat which lets your arrow affect everyone in a 60-ft line. By combining them together, you effectively have a 60-ft line of heal... Now, will all the PCs please line up? :P |

Huh. So it is. Shows me for posting away from my book... :( |

| Forged_Fury05-22-07, 07:35 AM | With a little prep time, Greater Status is a nice spell to have that would not require you to burn a feat to perform some ranged healing. In addition to the normal benefits of the Status spell, it creates a link between the caster and a certain number of party members through which the caster can cast certain spells of up to 2nd Level, including heal spells. I believe it works over any distance, as long as you are on the same plane. -Forged_Fury |

| Hsien05-22-07, 08:47 AM | Althouh not a heal spell, there is a feat that allows you to burn a Turn attempt to give everyone within 30' fast Healing 3 for 6 rounds, iirc. |
