Greetings,

Does the Rapid Metamagic Feat (Complete Mage) enable a sorcerer to benefit from the Quicken Spell feat?

Another means of using Metamagic feats to spontaneously cast spells is the Metamagic Specialist Variant Class for sorcerer's in PHBII. It explicitly allows for use of the Quicken Spell feat where the Rapid Metamagic Feat does not mention Quicken Spell explicitly.

Please advise. Thanks!

When this was first discussed, the feat's author came on and stated that it was intended to allow quicken. That seemed good enough to me.

I'll admit I can't see the source of your doubts.
