If a beholder has Rapid shot, can it use his eye rays with rapid shot?
Does an eye rays attack of a beholder count as a ranged attack?

thanks alot

Not for a beholder, since they have a clause restricting them to 1/round, which I doubt even rapid shot can overcome.

I think it would work for other creatures like the lantern archon or ghaele though.:)

Rapid shot is for use with ranged weapons only.

The spell-like/supernatural abilities of Beholders, Warlocks, celestial creatures, infernal creatures, etc., while they may be weapon-like abilities, are not ranged weapon for the purposes of this feat.

I think there may be a feat that works to allow more than one eye ray a round though, in the book Lords of Madness.

Well, I suppose if a beholder was to drink a six-pack of energy drinks, they would be able to let loose with all of their eye-stalks at once - for one round.

Then they would just talk a mile-a-minute for the next ten rounds...
