What creature types can take rapid strike from draconomicon. My friend is letting me use the feat but he has the book so I was just wondering. I know that dragon and aberations work but what other types can take this feat?

The remaining types that can take the feat are Elementals, Magical Beasts, and Plants.

Thank you Morwen. Now I also have a question on how the feat exactly works. I see it working like this. If I had a BAB of +20 and two claw attacks this is how I see it... 1stclaw+20/2ndclaw+20/1stclaw(imp rapid strike)+15/2ndclaw(rapid strike)+15/1stclaw(IRS)+10/1stclaw(IRS)+5

So a total of +20/+20/+15/+15/+10/+5 with my two claws.

Is this right or am I totally wrong!

Improved Rapidstrike overrules Rapidstrike. You would get a total of 4 extra attacks, the first of these at +15 and the second at +10. The attack bonus for the third and fourth attacks are open to debate, as the feat is written rather vaguely. I read it to mean that the -5 penalties are cumulative, so the third would be at +5 and the fourth at +0. However, it is also possible to read the feat as saying that the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th extra attacks are all at the same penalty, meaning they'd all be at +10.

So, your attack routine with claws would be:
+20/+20/+15/+10/+5/+0 with my interpretation.
+20/+20/+15/+10/+10/+10 with the alternative interpretation.

Thanks again! I will bring all 3 versions to my friend and he will rule how he wants it to work.
