Ive been trying to make a character who needs little sleep to restore spells or anything else that is restored daily. I heard about feats that have these effects, but I cant find it in any of the books I have. Do these feats exist or was that person pulling my leg?

There is a Ring of Sustenance. It allows you to get the benefit of 8 hours rest with only 2 hours sleep.

A note though, Ring of Sustenance still requires eight hours to restore spells and the like, I believe.

Heward's Fortifing Bedroll from Complete Mage would work.

Is it actually sleeping, or the eight hours of "quiet time" that you're worried about? A warforged, for instance, doesn't have to sleep at all.

I should have posted this on the equipment boards O.o. Thanks for the advice, and I'm assuming such feats don't exist. At least ring of Sustinence/Hewards bedroll is a good combo.

You could also play an outsider, they don't need sleep.

If you are willing to injured by positive energy and healed by negative, then you can take Tomb-Tainted Soul followed by Tomb-Born Vitality which removes the need to eat or sleep.

Also the Thri-Kreen for Expanded Psionics Handbook do not require sleep at all, but only live to be twenty-six or so.

I can't remeber what they are called, but I think they are something like team tricks.

Where you have a team leader who meets certain pre-reqs, and as long as each team member also has some kind of pre req then all members get a benefit.

Well there is one for only needing 4 hours of meditation like an elf. would cut the sleep a bit but stillneed the time for magic prep. Basically the elf in the party leads everyone in meditaition

I am away from my books, I apologize for the crazy description from memory
