I beleive there is a feat that allows a spell caster to sacrifice one spell, to power the metamagic feat for another. For instance, empower increases a spell level by two, so if I want to empower a fireball, I would cast the 3rd level fireball, and sacrifice a 2nd level spell, so the cost would be reduced persay. Anyone know the feat I'm refering to? |

Second, I've never heard of such a feat, and even if it does exist, it sounds horribly broken. |

It allows you to trade in spell slots to pay for meta-magic spell level increases, but I forget the details as far as prepared vs spontaneous spells. As far as I know there is no feat that duplicates that. |
