do spell-like abilities that are ready to use qualify for the usage of reserve feats?

For example, a drow can use Darkness (a level 2 spell) as spell-like ability. Can she, as long as she has uses left, use the Shadow Veil feat (Complete Mage) to obscure someone's vision?

03-06-08, 09:02 AM Absolutely not. As it clearly states, you must have a spell ready to cast. Spell Like Abilities are not spells.
