 You can't cast spells while shapeshifted with PH2's Shapeshift druid (even if you have the natural spell feat), but you keep spell like abilities. Can you use reserve feats? They're spell like abilities, but they require you to keep spells uncasted, but while shapeshifted you couldn't cast the original spell if you wanted to. Any ideas?

Yes, you can still use your reserve feats, they do not have V or S components.

(Incorrect advice removed, kept the correct stuff.)

A portion of the shapeshift entry in PH2 reads: "You can't cast spells or activate magical items while in shapeshifted form, even if you have the natural spell feat" so I think it's pretty clear you can't cast normal spells while shapeshifted using this variant.

I guess the real question is with a reserve feat, you need to keep the spell slot open, but do you also need to be able to cast the spell?

Reserve feats effect are supernatural, not spell-like.

For spells available to cast, you can not use your reserve feat under a silence effect if the spell required to trigger the reserve feat has a verbal component ?
If you think the answer is that you cannot, then you can't use the reserve feats while shapeshifted.
