Is there any type of Meta-magic Feat that allows you to convert a Range Touch spell to a melee touch spell?

I looked through all my books and couldn't find a feat that does that.

I know there are PrCs that allow such a thing but that isn't possible for my build and my Arcane Trickster would really want to have that feat...

Question: Why would you want to do such a thing?

Because you can hold the charge on a touch spell and doing so can release it in conjunction with a normal attack i believe.

Actually I have an Rogue3/Wizard 6/Arcane Trickster 10/Geometer1 and I deliver +7d6 with a sneak attack. I have the Mobile Casting feat which allows me to deliver a spell and move as a standard action leaving me a move action left over. In essence I have a Spell Spring attack combo that lets me move into a flank, attack, then move away (Tumbling at full speed the entire time). Combined with a few Quickened spells I can be knocking out some major damage.

Example: Polar Ray at my lvl does 21d6 damage with no save and I would have an additional +7d6 damage with my Sneak attack. Note: I have Practiced Spell caster and a +1 lvl Ioun Stone. That is 28d6 damage with no save and I get to escape from full attacks. It is a very good combo and I could avoid a lot of pesky AoO with it as a touch spell. I know the average 84 points of damage might seam weak but I also have Quickened Spell feat so that is an extra spell that could be cast in a flank for more sneak attack damage. In essence, I can really pump out some extra damage with low level spells with such a feat.

The very specific instances in which such a feat would be useful make it unlikely to be published.

My suggestion: improved invisibility plus shooting them with the ray (and the Quickened ray) for sneak attack damage.

Either that or pick up some good touch spells, specifically: combust from SpC and storm touch and scalding touch from MoE

Also the average damage is 98. The average roll on a d6 is 3.5.

The Enlightened Fist prestige class (monk/arcane) gives an ability called "Hold Ray" which turns a ray spell into a 'melee touch attack'.
