09-10-07, 09:57 AM Does this feat also allows you to retalliate against ranged attacks in your reach if they have some sort of Close Combat Shot? (OotBI, Bloodstorm Thrower (? ) from ToB, et al.)

The text isn't 100% clear.

09-10-07, 10:29 AM Seems fairly clear to me that RG as written only works against melee attacks:At the start of your action, you can adopt a fighting stance that exposes you to harm but allows you to take advantage of your opponents' exposed defenses as they reach in to attack you. Anyone who strikes at you gains a +4 bonus on attack rolls and damage rolls against you. In return, they provoke attacks of opportunity from you each time they swing. You don't "reach in" or "swing" with most missile weapons. I guess it might work against a sling attack, but not a bow or crossbow.
