| Slad Chaos10-10-07, 07:54 AM | Hello, there are the flying ennemies feat in Races of Stone. Do the ennemies take damage or not ? Did a goliath-stoneblessed character have the powerful build trait to have access to rock hurling feat ? Thanks for your future answer. |
| Radijs10-10-07, 04:16 PM | Yes there are flying monsters in Races of Stone. The Dire eagle is one of them. Damage from what? |
| Slad Chaos10-10-07, 04:41 PM | You didn't understand my questions. I didn't tell about the flying monsters, but about a feat, that permit to throw an ennemy. What are the damage from the fall, for the landing ? |
| InkBlot10-10-07, 06:40 PM | The feat is Fling Enemies, not Flying Ennemies. Radijs, could you really not tell what he Slad meant? Anyway, the Fling Enemy feat does not deal any damage to the enemy you fling. If you fling your enemy straight up, which might not be possible according to your DM, then your enemy will take normal falling damage (1d6 per ten feet). If you want to throw people hard enough to deal damage to them then pick up The Tome Of Battle. There's a whole martial arts discipline centered around throwing people really hard. I don't see anything in the Stoneblessed prestige class that removes a goliath's powerful build. So a Stoneblessed goliath will still be able to take Rock Throwing. |
| SilentOne10-10-07, 06:59 PM | The stoneblessed-goliath refers, I imagine, to a non-goliath taking the prestige class to be treated as a member of the race. Check the feat description again, if it just says "Prerequisite: goliath race" Then you're fine. If it references powerful build, then you're SOL. |
