Is a feat that gives a bonus to your saves against draining and ability damaging effects worth concidering? (my DM is designing a few feats for us to pick from as a quest-reward) I got the impression when looking into spells and monsters that most of the time you're not allowed to save and the effect is inflicted on you when you're hit. The save then presented is to get rid of the effect afterwards. Are there spells or monster that allow you to save to avoid such effects? As it looks to me now, such a feat only seem to improve your chance to get rid of the infliction by natural means instead of needing a spell, but not really a help in combat. Any thoughts or comments on it?
