I have a Wu Jen NPC in my game with Sculpt spell feat.
My question is... can I take a spell like burning hands and turn it into a 120 ft line attack or into a 20ft burst?
Since I assume the range is not altered... would the burst be centered on the caster?
I was also thinking elemental burst (lame spell with lousy damage) could turn into 4 elemental bursts (4- 10ft cubes) making it a pretty effective area attack at low levels...
What other low level spells (1st or 2nd) benefit for sculpt spell?

Keep in mind that no spell effect can extend beyond the spell's range, no matter how the spell's area is sculpted. So that Sculpt + Burning Hands still has "Range: 15 ft." and making a 120-ft. line is of limited usefulness here. The longest line you'll get is only 30 ft.

Sculpt + Burning Hands is good for standing behind a line of fighters and hitting your enemies who are toe-to-toe with your fighter buddies.

If E is an enemy, F is a fighter and C is the spellcaster, the spellcaster can cast Sculpt + Burning Hands on each enemy without hurting his fighter buddies.

Sculpt + Glitterdust is really good. Sculpt + Flaming Sphere does not work because Flaming Sphere is not an Area spell.
