| Werebat04-12-07, 11:42 PM | Can a shifter monk take the shifter version of Improved Natural Attack and have it apply to all of his monk unarmed attacks? If so, can a shifter barbarian/monk take Shifter Savagery and have it apply to all of his monk unarmed attacks? Because if so... Yowza! - Ron ^*^ |
| Fireclave04-12-07, 11:58 PM | Each time you take Improved Natural Attack, it applies to only one of your natural attacks. As far as feats, spells, and similiar effects are concerned, all of your unarmed strikes are considered one "weapon," though you can make unarmed attakcs with any part of your body. If you take INA for your Unarmed Strike, it won't work for any of your other natural attacks you may get from shifting. You'll have to take the feat separately for each one. Hope that helps. |

| EvilVegan04-13-07, 11:29 AM | It does work the way you think. The feat or the picture near it (can't remember) specifically mention a monk using the feat. I'd recommend going monk 11/barb X because monks don't lose their abilities for being chaotic, but barbarians lose theirs for being lawful. |

| Tectorman04-13-07, 11:18 PM | Keep in mind that unless your using the Chaos Monk from Dragon; Barbarians and Monks generally don't multi-class due to alignment restrictions. I have a question. Not owning that issue of Dragon magazine, and only knowing what I know about it from the pdf file that I got from wherever, I have to ask if this comment implies that a Chaos Monk has no multiclass restrictions or if it's simply referring to both the Chaos Monk and the Barbarian being able to be chaotic. |
| Hsien04-14-07, 09:26 AM | Mainly just a Chaotic Alignment Monk witha few ability variances. The chaotic alignment makes it easier to multi-class with a barbarian. I'm fairly certain it still suffers the Monks multi-class restrictions. Just my experience that most DM's tend to be restrictive, rightly so, when it comes to alignment hopping, when not as an identifiable result of gameplay. |
