simple Combat Reflexes question [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-10-07, 11:35 PM If I have a 16 dex, that gives me a +3 dex bonus

Now, if I wear full-plate armor that gives me max dex bonus to AC of +1

So, If I take Combat Reflexes, which bonus determines how many extra attacks of opportunity I get?

I think I would get the +3, but I'm not positive, and i don't feel like the PHB addresses this question very well.

04-10-07, 11:43 PM Armor's Max Dex Bonus applies only to AC. So, if you have a 16 Dex and Combat Reflexes, you only get +1 to your AC while in full plate, but you can take four AoOs per round (and you also get +3 to Reflex saves, ranged attack rolls, Dex-based skills, etc).
