| SolenVlos03-23-07, 10:31 AM | I belive there is a willing deformity on Book of vile darkness. I don't think there is a feat that gives classes abilities, otherwise we would have feats granting undead turn, lay on hand, etc.. the only class abilities you can simulate with a feat are fighters' abilities! |
| Tyraxus03-23-07, 10:34 AM | IIRC, there are items that grant darkvision. They're fairly expensive, but money is easier to come by than feats in most campaigns. And I don't know of any way to get rage w/o taking a class dip, sorry. |
| Someone03-23-07, 01:34 PM | Magic items are probably your best bet. The belt of dwarvenkind or goggles of night would grant darkvision. And you could make up a magic item that casts the rage spell on you a couple times a day. |
| paladin201903-23-07, 03:12 PM | A few prestige classes grant darkvision. IMC, rage is not the signature ability of barbarians. It can be replaced by a bonus feat progression emphasizing a tribal identity/fighting style combination (mounted combat and horse archery, for example). And Rage becomes a [General] feat that fighters can select as a fighter bonus feat. But without berserker (a special designation for barbarians who retain the rage class feature) levels, no one can rage more than once per day. So this is one way to house rule rage as a feat. |
| runestar03-23-07, 10:57 PM | Otherworldly regional feat from PGTF makes you a native outsider, thus granting you darkvision and martial weapon prof. Normally, it is available only to a few select races, but the celestial attended birth character background option in champions of valour allows any race to select it at 1st lv. There should be an abyssmal heritor feat in fiendish codex which grants darkvision as well. |
