| tarkin08-02-07, 12:09 PM | Flurry of blows is basically about 3 or four seperate sub-abilities, each looks about worth a 1d6. (A TWF, another TWF type thing, a reduction from -2 to -1 and another reduction from -1 to 0.) That sounds to me to be worth about 4d6 of Sneak atttack You need to give up more if you want 10d6. Stunning fist is only worth about 1d6 of sneak attack in my opinion. You have a limited number of stuns, but an unlimied number of sneak attacks. |

| TorgSmackie08-02-07, 02:02 PM | You need to give up more if you want 10d6. Maybe not 10d6 then. How about drop flurry of blows and gain 1d6 sneak attack at 3rd level plus 1d6 every four levels thereafter? |
| tarkin08-02-07, 02:10 PM | How about drop flurry of blows and gain 1d6 sneak attack at 3rd level plus 1d6 every four levels thereafter? That sounds fair to me. |
| Hsien08-02-07, 02:30 PM | Maybe not 10d6 then. How about drop flurry of blows and gain 1d6 sneak attack at 3rd level plus 1d6 every four levels thereafter? This actually sounds more like a Monk varient/alternate class, and not too bad in itself, rather then a feat. There's already the Ascetic Rogue feat to help combine Monk/Rogue abilities, so there could be a balance issue there when combined, but w/o doing any testing it sounds ok. |
| TorgSmackie08-02-07, 04:03 PM | This actually sounds more like a Monk varient/alternate class, and not too bad in itself, rather then a feat. Oh. I thought... Isn't an alternate class feature what we were talking about? Oh, no, feat. Whoops. |

| Hsien08-02-07, 06:34 PM | I could see the 2d6 for sneak attack for a stun replacement. But only if it had the same daily limit and the opponent got the same "stun" save to shrug off the extra damage. |
| Sigfried Trent08-03-07, 03:05 PM | It is generaly bad form to grant class abbilities with feats... they are after all class abbilities and not feats :> Not saying you can't but its something to stear away from. Another thing to avoid is feats that take something away (like stunning fist). Sounds like what you really need is to make a new class that does the things you imagine, either prestige or base. BTW: I am playing a rogue/monk/fighter in a PnP game at the moment, so you can certainly have flurry and sneak at the same time :> He's a great character so far and stunning fist + sneak attack is great stuff. Interstingly I am not using flurry becasue I'm wearing armor and shield, instead I use TWF and Unarmed Strikes until such time as my no-armor AC is reasonable for a combat character. |
