| Cendragon02-23-07, 01:41 PM | Is there a feat that allows you to deal sneak attack damage to undead? |
| CantripN02-23-07, 01:41 PM | There's an item, sorta. Truedeath Crystals, in the Item Compendium Excrept. Also, there's a spell that does that. Several, even. |
| gelalshawr02-23-07, 02:24 PM | There's an item, sorta. Truedeath Crystals, in the Item Compendium Excrept. Also, there's a spell that does that. Several, even. Spell from Complete Adventurer: Grave Strike, allows you to sneak attack undead, and Golem Strike does the same for constructs |
| Kintara02-23-07, 02:26 PM | Also, there's Razing Strike, a feat from Complete Adventurer, which allows you to add your SA damage to Constructs or Undead, but you have to burn a spell slot (which obviously means that you need to have some to burn, which means you might as well just prep and cast Grave/Golem Strike). |
| Emeramber02-23-07, 04:42 PM | Dungeonscape has an option where a 3rd level rogue can lose trapsense to deal 1/2 SA damage to otherwise immune creatures, but only when flanking. Offer that vampire a flank stake. |
| mustafathered02-23-07, 09:26 PM | The Skullclan Hunter prestige class from the Miniatures Handbook grants a class feature that allows undead to be sneak attacked. That "flank stake" was a really, really bad pun - you should go take some levels of the old 1st ed. Jester class from Dragon (somewhere between issue 70 and 110 iirc). |
| 3DJutsu02-23-07, 09:32 PM | Dungeonscape has an option where a 3rd level rogue can lose trapsense to deal 1/2 SA damage to otherwise immune creatures, but only when flanking. Offer that vampire a flank stake. :rimshot: I giggled |
| WinDReiN02-24-07, 08:56 AM | I believe there is a feat that allows to sneak undead. You deal 1d4 instead 1d6 dmg. Can't remember what feat that was. |
| SALDAR02-24-07, 10:16 AM | Offer that vampire a flank stake. That "flank stake" was a really, really bad pun I liked it. Besides are there any really, really good puns? |
| LaserBear02-24-07, 10:35 AM | There is also a magic enhancement for weapons that allows you sneak attack and crit vs incoporeal undead. It is a +2 enhncement called Ghost Strike from the Libris Mortis (p77). |
| Dyrrl02-24-07, 10:41 AM | Their are feats in Complete Scoundrel that allow sneak attack and skirmish against undead. Making rogue or scout and ranger levels stack and allowing precision based damage against chosen favored enemies regardless of immunity. Unfortunately I am at work and the names escape me.. |
| HellflameArcanite02-24-07, 10:44 AM | Besides are there any really, really good puns? Good point. |
| Hariman02-24-07, 11:30 PM | Swift Hunter. Complete Scoundrel. You can apply Skirmish to a type of creature that you normally can't skirmish. Among other things. Undead, Oozes, plants, constructs all become fair game. (I didn't forget any, did I?) The Shadowbane Stalker (Complete Arcane) gains "divine strike", which gives full SA against undead. Plus, you're leveling in cleric, so you gain a number of other abilities that can be turned against undead. |
| Jym02-25-07, 02:10 AM | Dungeonscape has an option where a 3rd level rogue can lose trapsense to deal 1/2 SA damage to otherwise immune creatures, but only when flanking. Expedition to Castle Ravenloft includes a description of this too. |
| Bopple02-25-07, 04:14 AM | Skullclan Hunter lets you add sneak-attack dice to damage to undeads, whenever you hit. |
| lasseram02-25-07, 07:59 AM | If your DM allows feats from The Netbook of feats (http://www.datadeco.com/nbofeats/nbofeats012.html), you could take the feat called Enable Critical. It basicly does what the name suggests: you choose one type of creatures that are normally immune to critical hits, and voila: you can crit them. In addition, you can also deliver coup de graces and sneak attacks versus the designated type. |
