Hi all,
I'm trying to create a sneaky character whose base class unfortunately isn't inherently sneaky (hide and move silently are cross class skills). So I'm looking for any feats that give him those skills are class skill (even regional feats from "Player Guide to Faerun"), but I can't seem to find any.

If any of you could point out such a feat I would appreciate it, otherwise I'll make due with "Able Learner" or "Guerrilla Scout".

If you're just starting the game, play a Whisper Gnome (from Races of Stone, also available as a preview on WotC site). Silence as a spell-like ability, and with the feat Extra Silence, you get it 3+Cha times per day.

Also, you get a NICE racial bonus to Hide and Move Silently, in addition to the Size bonus to Hide, making the Whisper Gnome the race of choice for Sneaky mammajammas everywhere.

Well, if your DM allows custom magic items, then getting something to improve your skills is cheap.
Say you want boots of +8 move silently. (and boots make sense for that skill) that's only 6400.
8*8*100....
bonus squared times 100.
And say you have some real cash to spend
+15 is 22500
Of course you have to survive long enough to get the cash...

You can also get armor that boosts hide and move silently ("shadow", "silent moves"), without custom magic items.

If you take a 1 level dip into a class with hide and move silently, you can make it just as high as a pure rogue. It will still cost you 2 skill points per rank (except when you take the dip), but your maximum number of ranks will be the same as a pure rogue.
