| dragonslayer66604-22-08, 03:35 PM | ok i was wondering if you can use manyshot while using the sniping option of the hide skill. it says you get one attack and that hiding after is a move action. so does that one attack equal a standard action? |
| LinkHiroOfTime04-22-08, 03:45 PM | Using Manyshot is a standard action, it says so in the text of the feat. So I would say you can do it. But any extra damage from sneak attack only applies to one arrow. |
| dman1123504-22-08, 04:02 PM | Unless you have Greater Manyshot. Well, the sniping thing is really just re-iterating that you need to hide as a move action or as part of a move action. And if you do it after attacking, you take a -20 penalty (this is the new part). So if you manyshot, you have a move action with which to hide. |

| dragonslayer66604-23-08, 03:45 PM | ok thx for the replies. i figured it should work but ppl i play with kept saying you only get one attack |
| qwerty104-24-08, 11:47 AM | Manyshot = 1 Attack (of 2 to 4 arrows) |
| dman1123504-24-08, 10:28 PM | No, wrong, manyshot=1 standard action, not one attack. There is a difference. This means you cannot use Manyshot with Shot on the Run. |

I'd say Manyshot is an attack, and it is a standard action. Its just not the "attack action." :) SotR requires the attack action, so manyshot doesn't work. Sniping just says you make an attack, which manyshot should qualify for. |
