(my first post)
i have a human 9th lvl spellthief/ranger-archer-hybrid(Talinor) playing gestalt rules from Unearthed Arcana (it's a little cracked out) and just decided to choose Leadership. the party size was really small so we all got it. my cohort can be 7th lvl (normal, not gestalt). so far the best i can come up with is:

warlock2/scout3/chameleon2 (Races of Destiny) with See the Unseen warlock power + one more ???, something that would work well with my spellthief powers...

i chose chameleon because we really need someone with divine abilities; we've gotten this far without a cleric but that won't last much longer. problem is, IMHO stealth and divine classes don't seem to mix so well. :banghead:

Talinor's goal is to survive deep in the underdark, searching for clues and slaying as many aberrations as he can :coolcthul:. he already has darkvision; as for the cohort was thinking about forgetting warlock and just getting a convenient template with dv instead. the freedom of choice is intimidating.
any ideas? :help:

I would go with Mystic Theurge to maximize your ability to steal spells for a variety of situations and also provide healing.

Wizard/Cleric, he can Scribe Scrolls of any kind due to the free feat from Wizard, and can know a bajillion spells.

You can up his power with taking Practiced Spellcaster twice (once for Wizard and once for Cleric). And perhaps Extra Spell Slot, so you have more things to steal (if you want).

Another choice would be to get a dragon shaman, preferably one with a dragon totem that grants sneaky skills then use him as a heal battery.
