can you use the speak-language skill to meet the prerequistive for prestige classes, for examle a bard ( with the speak language skill )wants to take a prestige class with the prerequistive to speak druidic, But as he is not a druid he doesen´t speak druidic so he decides that he meets the prerequistives becose he has the skill speak-language.

Is this leegal acording to the core books ?

No, Speak Language is different than most skills, you don't have ranks in the Speak language skill, every skill point you put into Speak language (or two, if it's cross-class) adds another language to your languages known. and as far as i know, you can't learn druidic unless you become a druid

Normally, I'd say yes.

In your specific example, however, I'd say no.

If you consult the chart in the Speak Language (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/speakLanguage.htm) skill, you will notice that under "Typical Speakers" it lists druidic as "Druids (only)". Also, in the druid class description it says:
A druid also knows Druidic, a secret language known only to druids, which she learns upon becoming a 1st-level druid. Druidic is a free language for a druid; that is, she knows it in addition to her regular allotment of languages and it doesn’t take up a language slot. Druids are forbidden to teach this language to nondruids.
For those reasons it is not possible for a non-druid to learn druidic (rules-wise, at least).

ex druid taught you.

your know a blighter who hates druids, and taught you.

you found a note written by a druid who was careless. maybe low level. and deciphered it using decipher script.

you are evil and tortured a person into telling

You travel with a druid and have heard him speak in it enough to other druids to pick up a little on your own.

you know someone who did one of the above to learn and they taught you.

all ways to learn druidic without being a druid.

Yes you can use speak language in order to meet the prereq. But unless you met someone willing-or unwilling- to teach you in one of those ways, i wouldnt let you just dump ranks in it.

It depends on the campaign setting, DM, etc. In Eberron, it is specified that speaking druidic is actual something of a magical ability of druids, not a language in the conventional sense. As such, if you tried to learn druidic, you would either 1) find it difficult and incomprehensible, failing in your attempts to learn it, or 2) find that as you tried to learn the druidic language, you must learn more and more about druidic magic, religion, ideas, rituals, etc, to understand the context of the language you're learning, and, in the end, you end up learning so much about druids and their magic, rituals, etc, that you end up taking a level of druid, intentionally or not (even if you almost immediately become a fallen druid after taking your level).

Anyway, learning to speak druidic cannot be achieved by simply buying ranks in the speak language skill. In some campaign settings, you may find some way of learning druidic without becoming a druid. In others, like Eberron, you actually must take a level of the druid class. Even if some ex-druid tries to teach it to you, you can't actually learn druidic without being a druid.

There are infinite ways that RP can be used to justify something. The DM must approve each and every one of them.

The OP wasn't asking "Can my DM and I use Rule Zero?", he was asking if it was legal according to the books. Which it isn't.

I think it is legal. If a druid can fall by teaching druidic, then druidic can be taught. I don't think you can just go to a normal library and teach yourself with books though, maybe just let you use the skillpoints if you have a dedicated ex-(or soon to be) druid teaching you. If you do learn it, I wouldn't go bragging to any druids though, you threaten the balance.

Anyway, what prestige class are you talking about? Seems like some kind of poor design.

folchun lyrist is the only one i can think of, i spelled it wrong. him being a bard is one of the easier ways into the class.

Also some of those ways are legit by the rules ways to learn druidic. Your an ex-druid you know druidic and your not a druid. The rest are sort of roleplay reasons why you could learn druidic. Of course by the rules with decipher script you should be able to learn druidic when finding a scoll.

Nothing in the rules of Speak Language prohibit its use to learn Druidic. The column a previous poster referenced was the typical speakers column. If taken as a prohibition, it conflicts with the text of both the druid class and the Speak Lanaguage skill it summarizes. Thus, those are the primary sources. The only rules prohibition on learning Druidic is that bonus languages gained from Intellignence cannot be used.

And prestige classes have requirements, not prerequisites. Let's not start that again.
