| Madwolf08-05-07, 01:28 PM | In Forgotten Realms C.S there is a feat called Spellcasting Prodigy that allows you to pick bonus spells and assign DCs as if your primary ability was 2 points higher. Wondering if this could be used for a Warlock? (yes, it says 'spellcasting' but as is the problem with so many additional source books, warlock was unknown when this feat was written) The DC bonus could easily apply. What about the bonus spell? Can't apply to Warlocks as written, but would allowing a warlock to pick a # of invocations as if his level was 1 higher be too much? Or any other ideas? Thanks. |

Actually, it also increases the saving throw DCs for your spells accordingly. However, since a Warlock doesn't ever cast spells, it is still useless to him. |

You could probably persuade your DM to let you take the feat and have it apply to DCs, especially considering you're only getting half the feat's usefulness. Of course, a Warlock spamming Baleful Utterance or Word of Changing wouldn't be fun with this feat, either. |
