| tarkin05-30-07, 10:52 AM | I see zero reason why a spellfire weilder could not cast spells onthemselves to absorb. Not sure how you tell if it is absorbable. |
| Morwen05-30-07, 01:15 PM | I see zero reason why a spellfire weilder could not cast spells onthemselves to absorb. Except the fact that he has to ready an action to absorb a spell.. |

| madbliza05-30-07, 03:30 PM | As a DM, I would say no. Since you can only hold a standard action as a readied action, and you need a readied action to absorb a spell, then it stands to reason that you cannot. Since each turn consists of only a standard action and a move. Having two standard actions in one turn is a no-no. However, this doesn't mean you can't carry around a bunch of ever-burning torches to charge your battery every time you need it. |
| sparkster424206-06-07, 04:03 AM | swift/immediate action spells, theres a belt in Magic Item Compendium that can grant extra actions, a few spells/psionic powers/martial maneuvers that can do the same thing, the Delay Spell and Quicken Spell feats ... there are ways it can be done. |
