Anyone have any creative uses for the spot skill, my mod is now +30 so most of the stuff listed in the books I dont even need to roll for. Reading lips is DC 15 and realizing something is invisible nearby is DC 20, then obviously there is the Hide vs Spot but there don't seem to be any near impossible feats like there are for balance, swim, jump etc. looking for ideas and their prospective DCs.

This isn't really a cool use of spot, but it is still handy...you should look into the feat "quick reconnoiter"...It allows you to roll a free spot and listen check each round, so if you've got a heinous spot check you will hardly ever get caught off guard. It is especially handy in combat to prepare for the second rush, notice a creature that turned invisible without burning a move action, or follow a creature attempting to flee through cover.

On the side it gives you a +2 to initiative which is always nice. I believe that it is in CA...

From the Epic handbook:

Seeing invisible things (DC's of 20,30,40)
Defeating an Illusion (DC of 80)
(I personally think this should be changed to defeating non-epic illiusion, with an Epic illusion involving a spellcraft check or something like that)

Then there is using Spot to read lips, +20 penalty if moving at full speed, and +20 penalty for using the Read lips to understand and be able to repeat a language you don't know, well enough for someone else to understand it.
